Hyundai jumps from 10th last year to top 3 this year, impressive. It is on its way to squeeze Honda's arse.

Some may not register the car on the month the COE is bidded. There will be some roll over.
Have to average out over, say 3 -6 months period.
Open CAT validity 3 months. Rest of the CATs validity 6 months.

i think also because kia got a 600 car delievery last month, all including our march, april, may bookers who just recently got COE.

must take note, its new car register, not so much correlation with COE, cos new car registration can include ppl who got COE as long as 6mths ago but no car on our shores yet.

wow how precise is the sgcarmart price??

now 1.6Msx(somemore) is the same price wen i buy my 2.0A.
but its expected wen lta start to reduce the coe. tat y i buy it in feb instead of planned end of tis yr....guess i make the right move...

I guess its bcoz KIA sales mostly depend on 1 model Forte.
But for toyota they have many models which can sell like vios, altis, camry....

I think once KIA come out with more forte prototype and once forte is proven in few yrs time, sales will pick up.

car sales depends on paper plus body value.
paper value is scrap value and is fixed but body value can go up or down depending on the market demand.

so now, dont scrap if u dun wan ur forte, sell to others cos market demand is higher.

so. meaning buy cheap == sell also cheap?
