Cheaper than new car by 8k but coe cheaper by 14k, so is actually loss of 6k.

Actually if ur mileage is above 20k per year is consider high already, might have trouble selling the car in future.

But who knows we may end up driving it for 10yrs.

Cars avg 20K km milege per year is a healthy milege. My manager almost 3 yrs 90+K km liao (=_=)
Imagine if a vehicle only clock 5k for whole year.
Do you expect that the valves are clean or clogged?
No carbon deposit in the engine and along the process line?
Metal parts that are not rust proof to be dormant when u r not driving?
Brake Pads still looks new (although they are not being used doesnt mean their service life is being extended)
Same goes for the tires. Rubber has a certain service life b4 they get harden and warp, render useless

Sg too small liao.....
Overseas.... Per year they clock like avg 30-40K Miles.. .Not Km...

And his rationale for suggesting? He says its like driving the car for free. But I am thinking, dun I have to pay more for another new car? Not sure whether he is blabbering the truth.... any opinion?

Think the seller already made a COE loss by getting the car at then COE price of $6XX.
The expected COE price then was around $5K.
COE rebate at the time, think it's $1K. So, C&C would have refund the seller $3XX.

Parf is immediately 75% of OMV for cars less than 5 years which equates to $14K. Added the COE refund, Paper value will still be about $14K.

Seller can put any price he wants. But who will actually buy it?

Both 1.6SX and 2.0SX forte still listed available as of today.
