Car Bluetooth Kit

hi guys..sorry for digging up old thread....jus booked 1.6 sx , does the sx already comes with the bluetooth kit or the se give one ?? cos mine apparently the se said he gives...

it's something that comes with the car.

Your SE trying to sound generous. It comes with the car.

To be precise, it is not fitted in Korea but is locally fitted.
It is included in the price of the car. in other words, you have already paid for it.

Have you sign the sales agreement? If not yet easier to negoiate.
Tell him Bluetooth is already in the sales package, ask him to give something else. SE from ubi? Go LK for better freebies (traditionally)

Tell ur SE tat in tis Forum - all owners got their Bluetooth Kit which is included in the package for all SX models. Tell him dun BS u & all of us. Get him to give u a real freebie lah.

Yup, go to LK for better deals. I got mine at UBI. And I regretted it.

I was told last week by SE that the latest car batch with new keyless entry feature does not comes with the bluetooth anymore. Reason is to reduce cost as keyless is "damn expensive" to c&c.

Nt sure which point to believe. Either keyless is really very very ex, or the bluetooth shld be actually standard feature..

sighed.. so many smoke bomb..

But if the above is true, then wat the SE of stalejive is maybe right...

Does it comes with the bluetooth?
Was looking through the price list and specifications. True enough bluetooth kit is not mentioned.
I'm still waiting for my SX. If it is no longer a standard feature, think i might call my SE to ask for it.

Collected my SX yesterday. Shipment was 18 Nov. I have blue tooth car kit but no , mine does not have keyless entry. I think because i booked mine in Aug. So probably is under previous package.

The bluetooth kit is not factory model anyway. The controls are not build into the steering wheel like what is sold in US. Don't know why the local dealer always like to play this kind of tricks where there are already options from the maker.

sigh unfortunately my lousy nokia N78 cannot pair with the car's bluetooth...all the other phones i tried also can pair..dunno how to fix this also..

What's your current firmware version? if it's v12.046, upgrade to v20.149.

For the so call 'keyless entry', am really bother abt this question once, and so go haunt high n low on the kia people for answer...IMO, it shld come pair with immobiliser naturally to be true keyless and push start ability.....

But so far all the answers i get are like "2 way door"... mean answer is blur enough to give you some reply, but not solid enough to answer straight to the point...basically, ask you to shoosh shooosh away..

They told me it can do 'keyless entry' w/o taking key from pocket, and engine cannot start wthout the key....which is similar as having immobiliser....yes it is correct....but wen ask so does it mean got immobiliser, they say dont have as per waht kia catalogue is saying....

Again asked, wat happen if the key is out of the car after starting engine... they say the engine cannot be stop and will continue running......but thought it suppose to cut off the engine... blur on the spot aagin.


anyway, now totally give up liao and just wait for my forte to come.... less white hair lohh..

The bluetooth is nice. But did anyone try to connect with more than 2 phones at the same time?

I noticed that both phone can detect and connect but only the first connected phone can use the kit but not the second phone.

Just found from the manual that only 1 phone can be active at any time although multiple phones can be connected. Fact but disappointing.

can onli connect one phone at a time...

So the SX comes with a bluetooth kit. My SE only told me tat it's bluetooth ready nia.

I'll noe when I get my ride next week.

e BT kit is not part of e car spec but is in e SX package... make sure u check its available when collecting....

Bro hsjose, you might want to check your agreement form (the paper whereby your SE will list down all the things u will get in the car) whether BT kit is in it. Better be safe than dispute later.......

I will also like to know if bluetooth kit is included .. SE didn't mention it to me

According to my SE, all those that comes with the push start package no longer comes with the BT Kit.

Have booked a 1.6L SX recently. Checked with my SE, he mentioned that bluetooth kit only comes with 2.0L SX.

Can anyone confirmed this? Mine comes with a push-start and keyless entry.

Mine is 1.6 SX as well and yes my SE tells the push-start model doesn't come with the BT Kit.

The SE said will cost $850 to put in the BT kit. Does anyone know how much it will cost if we were to do this outside?

$850, abit too expensive. But< I have to admit, BT kit is a must have. Alot of my passengers said it is super cool and the reception also very good.

crazygonzalez, that's not what I heard from my SE, but I still don't find its worth it to include it in, because I don't need to broadcast to all the passenger in the vehicle my conversation (maybe I don't know how it really works)

If I remember correctly, I think it cost around 300.
