Just reached my office and almost kenna an accident just now.

Was at Simei ave towards Xilin ave.

As usual, traffic is heavy and the favourite hot spot for traffice police (ok they are not really traffic police more like cisco) to lay their traps for ppl who drive on bus lane.

came to a spot at the traffic junction slowly and, KAPOW!

Dunno what sound, all I see is taxi uncle car behind me jerked abit and as my car was braking a little, I tot I kenna 4D mad .

Came out, and check my bumper and heng heng, my forte escaped near disfiguration on her butt thanks to taxi uncle not so near me. So I said "Uncle, nothing happened to me, I go alreadi..." Zzzzoooooooom...

It was actually the car behind the taxi, I think was a Gez that tailgate sooooooooooo close to the taxi that got not enuff space to brake. Furthermore, it was downslope, so tailgating is no no Mad , esp when so many cars infront of u and you nv know who will brake suddenly because of change in traffic condition.

Lesson learnt is, don't tailgate ppl, always have sufficient space to brake. Slow traffic doesn't mean that can suka suka drive without looking.

downslope, must be just after the bridge over the PIE ..just reaching Changi General....

That Simei Ave is one of the worst in the area, I avoid it in the morning... where did you drive from to go Xilin ??

If you coming from Tampines, why not try driving Simei Rd, then cut through Expo Ave and then to Xilin....

No ley Kapitan, I come from Bishan.
Go from braddel rd, cut all the way to paya lebar then up PIE. ERP free.

have to agree that the zone quite a danger zone for all cars. Heavy traffic, bus lane which everyone will try to siam when they hear on radio got camera on bus lane.

Waht I do is I stay in my lane, make sure I have space to zam brake. After the cisco guard, usually coast is clear.

Ok, then what u do is not to exit at Simei on the PIE, but at the next exit to Tampine N2, at T junction, make a U turn and you will heading for Simei Rd....
