wear & tear - headlight Empty wear & tear - headlight

Post by miko komi 2nd July 2009, 2:26 am

my headlight bulb blown after only 1 month driving it. I went to C&C .They intend to charge me $ 30-40 for labour & parts as the bulb is consider "wear & tear". However i managed to get it replaced for free after some "debate on wear & tear". I can't imagine changing the bulbs every month if it really wear & tear. 1 pair/per month=$70 bounce

Guess you are the first case that experience a blown bulb so fast. Glad you got it free. This means to say "WHERE GOT WARRANTY? THIS IS BULLSHIT"

having read all these problems. C&C service CMI.
Nissan svc is still the best. anything they see is faulty they will auto change if its within the warranty period. Bulb replacement FOC. ask of a small bottle of paint for touch up- FOC, C&c everything also try to charge.

if the bulb blow again, there could be something wrong with the circuitary, either there is a short circuit somewhere of the assembly got problem....

This reminds me about how over obsessed with money companies in SG are.

When I was in Australia previously, if the brake pads wear out before 30,000km, they recognise it as a defect and will replace for free. Better still, if the wearing of the defect brakes causes a damage to the disc, they will even replace the disc for FREE!

Over here, wear out after 10,000km also they will charge you to replace.
