actually not quite true tat they only rob flashy singaporeans. hubby was once robbed at a petrol kiosk in jb. wat was he wearing? de army black pants n a super nua tshirt.

lucky for him, he got nothing on him, after paying for petrol, all he was left with was 2rm. so dat's all de thief manage to get away with -_-

They sure very fast try to find out how these ppl look like so they can go catch them and take the stuff themselves!! Hehehehe!! :-)

But when they find out nothing much left, then you will like get back your stuff and they will whack the shit out of those robbers cos make them waste their effort or whack them to find out where they put the cash or the other valuables. Hehehe!! :-)

I was like, oh my.. u must be a retard... How can it be possible for me to keep a 3 month digital camera receipt alone with me... Definitely i will put it at home la...

When u went to make report did they ask for money???

My friend was rob in J.B, he went to the police to make report and was ask to pay. He has nothing with him how could he pay for the report or get home......
Went out of the police station to get help from passer-by. After a few approach, used the kind passer-by's handphone to get to help from his cousin.....

ok.. to share my experience for safety in boleh land..

1) Alarm is a MUST to install.. Remember to put the alarm blinking LED to a visible area where the thief can see..

2) The thief already camp in that particular area for quite sometime, what they expect to see is.. when you press or lock your door.. Does it come with alarm and what sort of alarm.. They can identify Viper or Steelmate alarm easily.. They will leave those car installed with such alarm alone.. Because it is 1 of the harder to disable alarm and with a little knock on your car.. the alarm sound off LOUDLY!!

3) Always steering wheel lock or gear lock using those bat lock..

Dont speak abt Forte itself, I have a msian's friend and his Proton Wira got STOLEN!! yea.. just park to get some stuff within 5mins the car disappear..

In the state of adrenalin, I didn't realised actually there was another person standing by..when I heard that, a chill came over me, meaning I may be stabbed to death in a toilet if not for that pacik that rushed in...

try to go in a group when gng into JB, to help look out for one another,

if juz for the sake of pump petrol, go in a group as well, or best is to go at the time whereby singaporeans are on the way back to sg and stop by at the petrol kiosk for top ups, it will be more safe if about %80 of the population at the petrol kiosk are singaporeans.

maybe bcos before entering the toilet I remembered only seeing 2 guys loittering near the toilet as I am the only car pumping petrol...in fact I am already on red alert liao but too high tide cannot tahan so die die need to use the toilet...that guy that kana from me kept shouting tolong tolong....best is the shell station employee, told me no need to call police when I requested, telling me no use, just let him go I was liked Shocked

Bro you are not the only one , we get these kinda cases very frequently surprisly even in singapore itself . With the highest toll victim rated as SUBARU owners .

Its advisable to park your cars in visible area , if not area with more people .
Dont leave any valuables in the car and always remember to lock your car doors .

He made sure he blended in well with the locals and looked exactly like them in everyway. Nothing ever happened to him while he was there. So try blending in as much as possible. Dun stand out!! This applies to whatever country you are visiting. Me and some friends went to a few 'well-knowned' cities in Europe, famous for their snatch thieves, but cos 3 of us were students and looked like we needed money more than the snatch thieves do, we were safe from anything!! In fact, I never felt so safe!! Hahaha!! :-)

2ndly, please, and I stress, please, dun stay out so late in a foreign country unless you are with locals. The timing of like 2am is like outrages in a city like JB!! Fewer ppl around, quieter, darker, all means easier for the thievers and robbers and burglars. And believe me when I say very few bystanders will help you knowing the risks involved if they do. At least in the day time, with more ppl around, your chances of someone helping you out will be higher.

3rdly, always be cautious of your belongings and where you put it and how you hold it. Even locals, like friends of mine in kl, the girls always know how to carry their bags in a way that will attract less attention from these ppl. Also, never leave your mobiles and wallets/purses on the table like most of us do here in spore. Even the locals there dun do it. Always also be cautious of your surroundings. If you notice you are moving to somewhere more isolated, you have to up your alertness or move back to somewhere more crowded. :-)

4thly, and this is the best piece of advise, try to get a local to bring you around. Someone who knows all these things and knows how to watch out for you. And also know how to talk the local lingo.

Lastly, if you wanna take the risk of driving in or even just going into our neighbouring country, you have to accept that there is a risk involved. And as someone said, as long as you are unhurt and you can get safely back to spore, you should be happy and thank god. :-)

Just a little advise from someone who grew up on both sides of the causeway. And have family, friends and contacts on both sides!! :-)

Bro , this method doesn't help anymore because we discovered a new stun not too long ago .

They will apply SUPER lubricant on the floor and drag your car out . Even the wheel is turned . It will come out in ONE DIRECTION . Sad
