I heard the map update is only free for one year, subsequently we have to pay for the yearly subscription to get the map updated.

okie. I already chasing and barking at him to hurry already lol!

Reason why there is a delay is because he still helping us to search for a cheaper one that has the same features but till now can't find it. I once told him that it is really very expensive and tell him to search for a cheaper one, thatz is y it is delay till now. In fact the build-in bracket from korea was shipped to his shop long time ago, just that bcos of the reason above, it was delay till now.

So I told him since he tried his best and still cant find a cheaper one, I told him to go ahead to bring in the current one. Hope this is fine for you all. Yesterday just play with the 4" one and really very nice, it show very detail map including small roads for both SG and MY.

Their maps are licence therefore will have to pay to update the map per year. However, they are free for the time being but duno until when, maybe 2years. Updating is not that expensive as per what the boss told me. I'm still waiting for him to give me the full details.

Yes, MCD one is 7" one and C&C one is 4". MCD offer this to C&C once and they even display at showcase but after that took it out cos they find it too expensive and customer wont want to fork out extra cash for this and also worst still, SE may not even earn a single commission if the customer successful out-spoken the SE lol!

This I not sure but I will definitely ask. Ayio you tink this is a PC? cos alot of the DVD players nowadays also cant play avi and I myself also got alot of movies which is avi format one lol!

Not waiting cos I already confirm the list above who want to install. Boss already ordered, but duno why take so long, tink is due to the miscommunication between Korean and him. But he confirm with me that it's already on the way and he only order for the few of us here only.
