7ism Exhaust Approval Problems

Just feel like ranting.

I've called LTA long ago. And they told me that if I wish to get the exhaust approve, I would have to send the exhaust to Japan for a Carbon Emission Test after that shipped it back to Singapore to have it tested for noise (which I believe would fail the noise test). All this have to be done because, they do not accept the domestic certificate (in Korean) which I have. ARGHHHH.....

bro to get the exhust pass u have to pay $7k for the certificate and also lias with a exhust specialist garage will be easiler. and btw calling them, they will just push all away.. get a workshop like FK , Jep Chee or Mun to do it, they will have a way and it all depends if they want to do it.. all abt $$

wah... sian... really appreaciate ur effort in getting exhaust approve.. i do really wish tat we have legal exhaust for our forte/koup

I think those specialist shops need to be assured of certain interest volume, before they would consider going for the approval.

Getting 7ism (which is of Korean origin) endorsed by a Japan counterpart? That's tough, but I think 7ism has collaboration with HKS, so this is a possible avenue, but again got to go back to 7ism first.

I think speaking to them to legalise the drift racing exhaust might be a better option, afterall it's their in-house product.
