For those who opted for this or were given it by their SEs I would like to ask whether the installer automatically includes an extra, dark strip across the top of the windscreen?
I am just curious as I don't want it and have been told that I have no choice!
Sounds like crap to me.

Yup...the dark strip looks old style to me. I think why rike cool put it this way is to reduce the cost of film material to cover the entire front windscreen.

No I don't think that is correct.
Many years ago I watched V-kool doing it and the procedure is 1. stick the dark strip first then 2. apply the entire windscreen film over that and the rest of the screen

I like the dark portion across the windscreen. Helps to block the sun.

rubbish. tink ur SE is juz too lazy to relay the msg to rikekool. i've given similar instructions to mine and it was followed.

i was given rikecool by SE....she said its a darker tint but LTA approved. Apparently in the contract it costs 1500 with 10 yr warrenty

I suffered the same fate as energy boy..managed to squeeze in mats on top of rikecool. Keeping fingers crossed. Hopefully the rikecool is worth it. Bought in dec at lengkee. Got 3000 off or smthing

Mine keep on telling me, i will do the LTA approve that is to the darkest...
which i hope it will be dark...... My SE told me worth $900.

Just recently i complain, i waited so long and get nothing, ppl get so many free thing why i nvr.

Than he intro me the Anti rust thing, cost $300.00, he say if i buy that he give me a map.
