Forte encounter problem

[list][*] hi guys, tried out the forte during cny. Was testing out top speed, going 180km is not a problem until a gong sound happen. When I was driving at a speed of 140km at 4th gear (auto) after e loud gong sound the gear was shifted automatically to 3rd gear. And when I manage reac home the entire gear box was gone. Able to Start car engine but when adjust to any gear the car can't move. This is a borrow car. When I received the millege is already at 10k.

On a more serious note.. our forte can hit 180!

OT a little, i hit 170 for a brief period of time during my trip back from KL to Spore last nite, noisy though. Feels like the car can still go if push a little. mine is 2.0L(A) and using K&N drop-in filter...the rest..stock..

Fantastic, gearbox gone still can drive. Also auto gearbox can still manually select gear...didn't know Forte is that good

U driving using steptronic ah or auto wat rpm u hit for every gear I hit 180 in 190 also don't hav this prob just that no gd for engine lol

Yup I think this car go do some adjustment to it's ECU..gear box spoil so claim a new gear box from Korea..touching 180km is very smooth..ya I was playing w the toptronic mayb tats y..but really spoil my cny..I'm a Malaysian so I travel alot during cny..no car very inconvenient. My koup ll only come end of this month. Is a forte not koup
