Booked my Forte liao.... finally.

SE called to confirm the bank loan approval. COE still not confirmed. Car available in Jan 2010. Probably ask my SE to hold the car till after my honeymoon which is on the 17 jan 2010.

Delivery is faster than the koup.

SE says the KOUP still new and demand not as high and fast as forte. Anyways, i think forte fits my budget nicely after much consideration and input from u guys/gals.

Just been confirmed my COE ... heng heng no need top-up even though COE went up. Probably collecting my ride after my honeymoon on the 13 jan. Told the SE to hold the car till im back on the 17 jan.

Anyways Colin, black wrap doesn't absorb heat that much. My uncle did that to his scooter and it was fine. I will probably change the rims first and then the front grill. Probably take off all the emblems as well. I want to dechrome my car.

it's a matt black scooter, it's totally different. you don't sit enclosed in a matt black cabin under the hot sun.

I m no the owner of the HDB unit ,just rent it.

What documents i need to submit?

U have to go to HDB branch office according to the car park location.

And as for the black wrap, it will cost us forte owners an amount from 1k to 2k depending on shop. I know I read somewhere that someone paid 1.2k for his honda civic.

matt black suits certain cars like GTR...for family sedans...hmmm not my taste. imo.

Why is there a need to top up if the COE went up too high? I thought the selling price has already been agreed upon, only that your SE will try to bid up to 6 times?(If I don't remember wrongly). In fact it is to your benefit if the COE goes up higher, and you managed to get the COE.

Of course if you are bidding on your own, it would be a different story.

Was told when I booked my forte that I will get in 3 days after successful COE bid. Now SE says wait shipment. Each time I sms he says he will update me if got any news. The good news here is that I will not be in SG from 13 to 15, back in SG on 16. The bad news is I'm afraid I will be waiting till march....

Bro, after COE successful bid, the SE needs to register your car. Then if stock available prob need to wait for approx 1 week. Call your SE see if stock available, and if so, why the delay cheers!

When are you suppose to get ur car as per the agreement? Mine was 7/Jan and I started chasing the SE from 3/Jan... on 7/Jan..I gave him a call, still ask me to wait... then on 8/Jan I sms again...the answer is still to wait... then I replied....you're late....1hr later...sms comes....say can collect the car on the same day...sometimes need to hide behind the contract to make the world go around... but they are still late.... i m now wondering what I wanna do next...ehheheheh
