LTA's random check at carpark

Went to my old car's forum and read that one of the forumers got a letter with regards to his car. And according to some replied it seems that LTA do random checks at carparks for things like after market mods that are not legal.

Suddenly occur to me that yesterday there was this lady walking from car to car looking at the cars. Nicely dressed lady and confirm not looking at season parking. Had one clipboard with some papers only. Dunno is this the same type of "random" checks.

In anycase, just informing what i read. Not sure anyone knows about this.

our TP is getting too free nowadays and nothing better to do. not to hunt down speedsters on highways but innocent, stationary vehicles in tiny, humble carparks.

A few days back at my area MSCP, saw a car got summon, but take a closer look, it's not and the paper is quite big and it's from LTA stating that his number plate is too small.

few weeks back on one of the morning on a working week day...

as usual before day light, on my bike warming up before settin off for work

saw my side mirror, notice a very white bike coming towards me from behind ...omg TP !!
at that point of time my aftermarket exhaust has not been send for inspection yet, play safe, off my bike take out hp pretend to be busy....

men in white saw me, slow down ride pass me slowly, saw him looking at my direction through the corner of my eye....*gulp*....still pretending to be busy.....he rode off....

I saw the number plate....LTA number plate.... oh man...

er cannot....cos at the time my bike cover is in my work place , i didnt bring home the day before

That is usually what I do.. look back at the police or LTA.. giving that look, WTH are u looking at my ride.. after the staring, they wont see u for more than 2secs cause they will feel pai seh aso.. and ride off

U have to be confident and give them the impression like.. come check me loh.. u come only waste time.. that kind of looks

Just like when go police block.. i super friendly 1.. FIRST from far i will off my foglight, then reach the stop sign I will wind down front and back windows and ON all lights to let them see my face clearly and make sure i nv long pang any PRC chicks behind..

usually they will waved me to move on.. after start moving.. foglight on.. =X

Exhaust pipe big doesnt mean anything ma... spoiler within the lines of the car is passed.

it has been reported in other forums that eye contact with LTA bikes should be avoided. once you make eye contact for a while, they might pull you over.

but anyway i'm sure that depends on the outlook of your car...e.g. full body stickers, carbon hood etc. will be v likely to pull over...

i saw before LTA bike at my house MSCP ...

i was at the last top floor doing so area cleaning for my car...

he rode his bike n looks around n look at me too ....

he rode pass me n i look at is plate also LTA...

maybe these days they need money ba ...

i think my carpark still safe from LTA cause never see anyone or letter on the car...

My frd's opc parked car was fined by LTA for tinted windows. Cant recall if its fined & inspection or juz fined.

Guess LTA officers need a big bonus this year.
