Wind rushing sound when travelling
i am experiencing this sound that is like wind rushing into the cabin when i drive. especially after speed 60km. it seems like there is some seams or openings that is allowing the air to rush through...i am not sure if that is the norm for all cars or is it the sound insulation. when i hear the sound there is no music or other sounds that can interupt it.
Anybody experiencing the same thing?

such sound is common only when at high speed.. 60kph is a bit too slow for such sound.. check if ur windows all are wind up properly..
if yes den try to identify where the sound comes from and bring this up during ur next servicing.. maybe the insulation not done properly..
From my own experience, if u still hear this sound at 60kph, try to lower ur driver side window n see if it is coming from near ur side mirror area.. if so u might be having the same problem as i have

side mirror? why is it so? can you also explain on your problem encountered? how can we rectify it ourselves before the servicing?
i can confirm i wind up all the windows.
the sound started after 60km, soft thou, and became more obvious as speed increases. i beginning to feel irritated after 80km.

Did you install window visors? It will be noisier than without because of the air turbulence.

u can look at this old thread
http://www.ceratoforte.forumotion.com/general-discussion-for-forte-owners-f2/re-zee-zee-sound-t1028.htm
anyway mine problem is not common.. most ppl dun hv it.. ok wat happen is when i reach the speed of 70kph n more there is a sound coming from the driver's side mirror.. its a high pitch noise.. some describe it as if some insect is trap there.. its confrim coming from the gap between the mirror n the base.. cos at 70kph..i tried to fold the mirror in manually.. the mt the mirror is folded by a bit, the sound stop immediately..
Cnc tried to resolve my problem by changing a new mirror.. it doesnt work.. den they tried to tighten all parts near tat area.. it doesnt work too.. personally i tried to stuff some papers between it.. the sound minimize but still there.. i am still monitoring the situation.. will ask them to look at it again next servicing..
anyway i hope ur problem is not similar to mine lah.. else quite troublesome.. and yeah.. very annoying sound esp if u drive with window down.. the sound goes away only when u slow down.. btw i have this problem b4 installing visors.. i hv no problem with visors from this car n my previous one..

Did u install visor?
With the big gap for Mobis visor, it will create such sound. Unless u are using Mugen style visor then it will reduce the sound impact.

Re: Wind rushing sound when travelling
its not because of stick on or not as most visor are stick on using 3M.
The differences is Mobis visor got large gap for the air flow inside and trapped.. tat why u will hear to wind trapping sound.
