Car Auto Lock

hi bros,

i faced a small problem here...
hope some bro able to advise what is the problem..

As all knows that

1) when u drive ur car to 40km/h or when u step ur brakes, d central lock system will lock up ur car...
2) At stationary, with ur keys in & engine on, u able to central lock ur car

but now i am facing a problem...

1) When travelling over 40km/h the car does lock the car, but when i stop at traffic lights where my speed is 0km/h, the car auto unlocks the car. WHen i travel 40km/h or steps on brake the cars locks again... this goes on n on.

2) when i park my car with the engine on, i tried to lock the car but it unlocks again.. normally we shld be able to do it.

i just faced this problem since yterday
so the questions is that wat causes this? wat controls the central locking system? the ECU or wat?

I am driving a EX (M).

bro, it should not auto unlock......u need to check with CnC.....

The next question is, what else have you fitted??

is it ur alarm system causing all this?

one questions for all bros,

when u r in ur car with all doors closed, when u insert d key, did u hear a reminder sound which is for reminding to remove ur keys when u alight?

No you are not suppose to hear the "ding ding" sound if all doors are closed. You will only hear it when your door is opened.

what i know EX model air con, sport rim , alarm or selected item install in spore.

Erm mine auto long once i move off... no change of it hitting 40km/hr than auto lock.. is it a defect?

Not sure about the reat but my auto lock once it hit 20km/hr instead of 40km/h. My is SX (A).

Same.

I was told 40km/h but I think it's closer to 20km/h.

But isn't it a good thing?

technically, it only auto lock when you hit 40.

It will auto lock all door when hit 20km/hrs. For your case better send in for checking when going for servicing.

I mean, wither ways... why do you want the doors to be unlocked when you are moving?

I think in manuals say standard is 40km.. but can be set to 18km or so.. .. and later > july batch all comes like tat liao...
to me its good... and i just like it...
