Door lock issue
Hey guys. Just collected my white 1.6 SX(A) yesterday at LK.
Everything was good until i realised something weird with the door panel.
If u're in the car and u lock the door be it passenger/driver side, the lock will auto unlock
when u try opening the door from inside. Is this normal?
I feel that this is quite dangerous as kids may be playful and tend to open the door from inside
even when it's locked.
IS there a childlock for the car?
I intend to send the car back to C&C to rectify this issue.

Re: Door lock issue
bro just childlock the rear passenger seats till yr child turns 7-8yrs old as i also childlock from first day collect car till now, its located on the rear doors near the latches. very easy to see 1, then u can only open from outside. opening from inside is normal but i also find it weird, but since our car have impact auto-unlock, i think this is the function.

Re: Door lock issue
Basically, the unlocking function for the 2 front doors are basically to keep the people outside... outside...
It's more for convenience than anything else. Since the driver are in the car... it would have them the hassle to unlock before getting out right?

Thanks guys for sharing.
I've just realised that the rear passenger doors will be safe for kids.
As for the front passenger side, I hope playful kids don't mess with the lock!

Re: Door lock issue
the front door should be able to lock manually by driver, the button togather with the window lock button.. after mannual lock, the front passanger unable to open the door..

Re: Door lock issue
Something I observed...
Child-safety lock is not turn-on in both scenarios...
1. When all doors are locked and engine is running, open driver's door... Rear doors remain locked.
2. When all doors are locked and engine is OFF, open driver's door... All doors are unlocked.
any bro can confirm?

hey BluZon. That's not the case.
It seems like no matter how the front passenger door is locked, it still can be opened from within.
That's the case for both the front doors.
