Got any friends driving the 2007/2008 Mazda 3? I wonder if any of the cars managed to fall though the insurance company directed salvage/recycling effort... "Salt Water Goods"... Literally... Suspect

as far as I know, all cars onboard that ship were scrapped.

none were released into the market, not even to under developed countries.

the one good thing out of the incident is that there were no fatalities with the crew onboard, there was one, the person was one of the salvage person trying to rescue the ship after she was abandoned, he slipped and fell.

the incident had caused me many sleepless nights, was personally involved with it, in fact I was one of the first person to recive a call, but I was in LA at that time and could not assist in the rescue mission.

for your info, the ship is back in service.......
