New emblem and long plate DIY

wow die like this if LED spoil cannot replace at MCD? If u going bring in some more blue scuff count me in yeah

ooh icic... hmm but some how MCD selling at almost half of the price more.. haizs... if its cheaper i will get it .. cos its only able to see during opening of our doors.. other than that its always close and cant be seen at all... so dun see the point to install so expensive yet juz able to see it during door opening.. thats my lolpoint of view lar hee...

initially i also tink this way but after i imported in and tried on my ride.. it is so nice and made me drool everytime i open my door.. especially at night, the blue lights from the scuff plate gives me extra lighting to get out of the car safety.

jus installed the scuff-plate but non-LED one... didn't know there is LED version from MCD...

anyone knows the price for the LED one from MCD?

haa..... ya i understand the feeling when u get to see the lighting during the night time.. very nice indeed.. but 2x of ur price its abit ex for me i think.. not sure itss consider ex for other bros here.. i will rather pay $90 for this plate juz like u and use another $90 to get other poison stuff for my ride.. even better...rather dan 190 for juz 1 item... lol

$90 is only scuff plates.. i need installation by workshop too.. quoted range from $40 to $50. add up also $140++ for 4 pieces of no warranty plates..

if i have a choice.. i will pay $50 more for a piece of mind at least knowing my items got warranty by a respectable workshop.

u got it installed at where? LED version with gazoo GB at $190. Comes with 6 mths warranty. But only got RED colour..

GB price is $170 as stated in the thread...

Your scuff-plate looks brighter... is it made up of many small LEDs?
btw, ur scuff-plate can be turned off even when ur door is opened?

the GB from MCD is LED based too mah.. except tat, the LEDs only comes in RED. No blue..

Cannot off.. installation same as MCD.

You can install LEDs at the door at $35 per door or at the bottom of the door at $45 for 2 doors.

having the lighted scuff plates are totally different to have leds right under yr door.. sry, tat's wat i feel..

the plates are sticked on my 3M tape. Not very locked tight and will cause slight abrasion when closing door.. it causes some paint under my door to peel off. :-( but overall no big issue..
