Is it worth to top up 2K for guaranteed COE?

depend got available stock anot lor, if got then can try,
if u have to wait 1-2 months then dont bother, let them slowly bid lor

normally if got available stock, they will bid more aggressive

Depending how much u need the car..
i do think this is a better time to smack that 2k for COE if really in need.. else... take a ride on your luck liao.. of course stock time must be considered too..
with the sep cut, think its $ going to raise v.much further... so..

I paid that extra 2k... cos I needed the car...

But there were some bros who did not and got the COE still...

So, it's like asking... The Stocks for XYZ company will go up or not...

Anyway, I heard that the COE bidding is going to be once every 3 weeks.

I have a feeling that the Garmen gonna be alittle more relaxed on the OPC...
(Maybe cos the up coming election ba)

I top up 2K for the guaranteed COE, got my COE $15K++ last Wed.
Bought Metal Bronze EX(A) on 9/8/09 (National Day weekend),
SE indicated shipment arrive late Sep/Oct.

I paid for the top up coz was afraid COE quota cut and also to be hassle-free.
Wonder if I paid for the top up was a wasted effort? Thanks!

yeah, looking at the current market with the coe quota cut and the 1 biddding every 3 weeks, maybe can conside the 2k topup, did u lock down the price of the car first or still yet to ??

Since i am getting the 1.6L SX (A) Titan Silver which i have booked last weekend, and the stock will be in end oct or end nov, i will go ahead with the normal 6 biddings.

It's all up to chance one la... no confirm or not...

for some of the bros here who bought about 4 months ago when the COE was low... so ended up topping up more than 2k just to get the COE... but personally I feel the wait is even worse...

Like waiting to die like that... and dunno when that is...

Didn't like that feeling... so topped up that 2k to avoid it.

Even though some other brothers paid the same amt as me and still got the COE... nothing to be pissed abt... like stocks and shares... you win some, you lose some.

But I'm def gonna enjoy my ride.
