SX leather seats

Jus checking if your 1.6 SX leather seats are full leather or half?

meaning your seats are fully covered with leather
or
just the seating portion covered with leather?

Should be full leather right?

i know my SE did mention that for the rear seats, half leather means the small part of the seat in the boot is not leather, but the passenger compartment is full leather.

erm... what about the front seats? (passenger and driver seats)

infact the untouchable part is not leather could meant longer lasting .... but cheaper in material...

what u can see is leather, what u can't see is therefore not leather.

So the front 2 seats are all leather.

The back seats are half leather. Open your boot and stare at the foldable seats and u noticed the back of the back seats is not leather.

Went to showroom check the display car, the front 2 seats are half leather too. Visually u can't notice the different, but when u feel it, the texture is different. Only the area where u seat is leather....

Share something I learnt at the Car-nival at Expo last week. The thing is they got a trade-in offer. So I was asking for a quote on the leather seats from Jackspeed and my trade-in value.

When I told the guy that I'm driving the Forte, he straight away said to me that the leather seats for this car is half leather.

Din take the offer as the trade-in price for my car's leather is only $200.

So just sharing what the industry knows about forte leather seats.

I remember my SE told me that for the front seats (both driver and passenger) are only half leather which means the portion that contact with our back and buttock are leather and the rest of the portion of the seats are PVC (synthetic leather). For the back passenger seat are full synthetic leather (PVC).

yupe, Bro kenneth is right. just like normal Sofas, different range-> PVCs, half leather, full leather. Forte's half leather is prob adequate for comfort.

I made a casual enquiry with a local leather upholstery shop and the quoted price was app. SGD1.5k. I thought the agent got such a good bulk purchase price so it is clear now why it is so cheap; half leather only.

so everybody's forte is leather seat la?

I went to look at other brands and from what it seems, the seats are also the same, only the parts you seat at are leather. Seems like this is the standard for most cars these days?

Either way, I'm happy with what I got, very happy!

Yes most cars are even MIJ/MIT, unless its the higher end models. my previous rides SE from Tan Chong and CnC SE also pointed out the same area.

good findings, wonder will one starts to ask what grade of leather used? hehe..
anyway i am not surprised cos ours r standard sedan n not luxury cars.. so can't expect too much ba.. im happy with the seats too..

Mazda also locally fitted......same same.....

My SE confirmed is half leather, only the front side is leather.

Yeah that's what i thought to too. The feel of the seats totally diff from back and front.
