i wash the car myself and i try to keep that area dry.. maybe parking inside MSCP can last longer too.. i suspose if u want it to be there longer can use super glue or stronger adhesive tape.. =P

i can't remember exactly how much for the rims as i changed quite sometime liao.. i remembered it was like 600++ but trade in value given was very low.. so i went to another shop to trade in the stocks rims at higher value.. in the end guess i spent $500++ for the rims lor..

Yup, mine from taiwan.. slightly above 7kg i think.. after changing rims i feel the steering at stationary position is lighter.. not much diff during driving thou.. another good thing abt this rim is very easy to maintain.. Smile

the red molding comes with adhesive tape behind.. just peel and tape down.. i find tat the adhesiveness is not so strong on plastic surface.. so over time and if come into contact with too much water.. it will drop off (but so far, even after a few weeks, i dun have this problem maybe cos i wash car myseft n park under MSCP).. but they do stick on pretty well on metal surface.. the difficult part will be the corners and bends.. tends to be loose after sometime.. one way is to use a little bit of super glue if u want it to be permanently fixed.. =P

Yah, if u paste in the interior, no problem one lah.. for exterior gotto take care lor.. like bro kysoong said his can't last for 2 car wash.. im waiting to see how long mine can last.. haha.. but im thinking to use super glue for those places tat i want the molding to be on permanently on (if they drop off tat is).. tats why i keep some red molding for reserve now =)

Thanks! abt $80+ for buying the sticker lor.. but depending on the areas u want to do lah.. if dun need do big area den no need so much.. i am using normal hair dryer.. i think u refering to those heat gun right? if u have will be better but imho not necessary.. idea it to soften the sticker for easier workability.. CF is already a sticker, can paste after u peel off the backing.. heating is for smoothing the material for nicer finish.. hope this clarify ur doubt.. but seriously need a lot of patience to do.. Hey bro, mainly cosmetic lah.. for the eye led, the main reason i got it done cos no more fogging issue (my HL fogging quite bad and i understand tat even if replace oso no use).. anyway the boss told me if they fog again i can go back to him n he will redo the housing.. according to him, the sealant used by KIA is not good.. i was told im the 4th forte he do.. so far the previous owners did not go back to him.. will monitor n see if they will fog again.. but the led a bit beng too Scorpey's Forte White 2.0 SX (A) - Page 2 Icon_razz

I managed to get my HL changed for my 2nd service... Initially, i was skeptical if they really did change, cos there is no way to verify...

After 1 wash, I am SURE they did! Now the fogging is much worse than before! *sigh!*

Can pm the contact of ur workshop, wanna check if the boss can do "de-fogging"... LoL!
