Would you recommend Caltex Ron92 or Esso92(equivalent)?
Morning everybody
Today i just pumped full tank of caltex ron92.
But after some search in the forum, i realise that some bro and sis complained that cal ron92 make the forte acceleration rough. And they prefer Esso92(equivalent).
Actually i am more concern if this will "hurt" my precious forte.
Maybe those who used cal r92 want to share their experience in this fuel grade and also those who have technical knowledge to contribute on the impact?
BTW caltex station are hard to find!!
Thanks and i wish you all a good day!

Price of VPower = 2.119
Avg Pr of 92 Ron = 1.787
Price difference = 0.332, .....
on the average, we pump 2000 litres of petrol a year, therefore you spend an average of 670 dollars more on petrol against someone who uses 92 ron... that's 670 dollars burnt....

I must say, Esso feels better than Caltex irregardless of which grade imho.
But recently, i always pump VPower or Esso F1 in JB....
Keep going in and out..

The diff in price between 92 and 95 is about 5 cents / L
The diff between the 95 and 98 is almost 10 cents / L
Personally, I use 95 for my bike and car...
Caltex + OCBC @ 12% discount...
