Certainly the temperature now feels like what it's been set for, rather than being warmish all the way until you hit 22 deg C.

I'm doing fine with 25 deg C now. If I blast the fan, it's real cold even in the back seats.

hiak hiak.. oooppsssiiieee.. actually me suspect the aircon system trying to make the air cool bah, coz the buzzing sound doesn't come very often.. can it be the aircon system making the sound instead? juz like the fridge...

my car is now inside C&C workshop.. 1st thing tmr it'll be serviced for those 3 probs and hopefully can collect by tmr evening.. suddenly missed my bear bear.. lol!

Hi Brothers & sisters, can share what is the default setting u all set for your aircon after the modding to make the temp cooling n nice?

I set 22C with fan 2, the aircon is so so only. Does the mode make a difference?

no leh.. my 1k servicing oredi done last mth.. tis time i sent it down to fix the brake and the reverse gear.. coz my brake is loose - doesn't bite well and my car can still move when it's in park mode.. and when my car faces downslope, the reverse gear not enuf power to move back.. my car went forward and it's quite scary esp when ur car's bonnet is very near to the barrier.. nearly hit the barrier @ the Parkway Parade carpark.. furthermore, dat time cannot rev coz behind got one dumb fella came up so close to my bumper without using his brain to think tt ppl might need to reverse... and he oso refused to reverse even when there's no cars behind him some more.. haiz... sister!!! i dun think the P mode car moving think has anything to do with ur breaks leh.. cos auto car in P mode there will be a "pin" engage into ur transmission paralysing it! that means even in P mode u nv pull hand break ur car will not move!! and also u said ur reverse got problem? its could be ur Auto transmission problem.. well u can ask them to check ur auto gear might not be the brakes as new brakes need time to run in also =) just my 2 cent..

my car does occasionally move actually when it's in P mode and that's why i'm kindda concerned lor.. not sure under wat ground lvl it will move leh.. anyway, juz let them check lah since there's other problems oredi.. tongue

Can clarify what does the "P" mode means? cos I tried testing it on slope with "P" mode with handbrake or padel brake, the car will still move backwards.

So what is the function of this "P" mode?

TRY step n HOLD on the BRAKE B4 pulling up the BRAKE HANDLE.....check the Instruction Booklet !

after the mod, air definitely much cooler than before at the same settings.

for EX owners, based on the air con temperature dial, there are 5 markings for coldness.

0 - neutral, in between blue and red marking.

5 - the super coldest

just to check, what level to u set for ur air con?

I normally set about 3.5 level.

i use 3 normally.. too cold sometime the piping will freeze and spoil ur a/c..

Yes! try not to set too low a temperature when you start to on you air-con. Set to medium, later progress a higher temp, but not to the lowest. If the cold air pipe freeze, very cold air (smoke like) appear from your air-con vent, then the air-con is in for trouble.

finally got my bear bear home liao... performance seemed to have improved a lot leh... oni thing tt they cannot do for me now is the knock knock sound.. Sad

they said got to wait for the improved shock absorber from Korea and likely to come in ard July. haiz.... now my hand brake is very much better.. no nid to pull until to the top liao... haven't test the reverse gear yet.. hiak hiak.. Razz

Yes, I guess all of us have this problem and it's only the start of the day where you start driving, and after warm-up, u wont hear it anymore. So I'm still fine with it.

..once the stock for the replacement are in, then go and change, anyway, like someone metioned, even the current replacement is consider trial...let it settle down then change it once n for all...

Dan....was inform the Rubber Bus part still in Korea n saw 3 Korean KIA Engineers in Teban yesterday. This 3 guys are here to solve some common problems here. Wait longer. I have oso log them in for the knock-knock-clock-clock thingy over the hump.

i think the knocking sound comes from over extended shock.. hmmm cos i have experience in previous opel combo also have this problem but once its lowered the knocking is gone..

Just to share with u all, me just called up air con expert or specialize @ Tomika Auto Air-con in Ubi.

I asked him does cerato forte need to insulate the coldest pipe?

He said no need and dun waste money, normally the design like dat..

if u dun believe invite me to come down and show me any diff after insulated the pipe by checking the temp in the car.

While toking to him in phone..cut short he explained to me very detail how air con work. He is very nice and honest no wonder the shop lived up the name and popularity for honesty... thumbsup

For those no sure , u can try to call him for advise.. Very Happy

Someone mentioned get into car will set at auto. But if I not mistaken, you press auto, it will automatically go to the green light rite?? Which means outside air?? Or am I wrong?? :-)

Thats why I always press the round button instead of the auto button. :-)
