Rikecool Defects on Koup

hi there,

have this topic been brought up? any bubbles or poor workmanship found after your Koup collection?

I just went down to Rikecool to fix the bubbles, the staffs are super friendly and helpful today. but what disappointment is their workmanship.

After collection, found my below left hand corner sticker suddenly peel off. so have to turn around enter the carpark and redo again.

I checked carefully before going off, so far so good. Then head out and at the main road, suddenly saw top left hand corner peel off. very sianz... i just use cloth stick back on the surface.. then i saw 2 bubbles appearing at centre of my windscreen ... lagi sianz...

haiz..just have to live with it for a while and will ask C&C to settle it during my 1st servicing..

To be frank, i wun bother if i were u. The quality of tint is CMI anyway and it's not worth the time or hassle of getting stressed out over it. If anything goes wrong, it'll simply give me a good excuse to rip it all off and redo the car wif better quality and darker tint.

As what my solar film installer had said before... Product-wise, they are usually very similar; price dependent. We pay a little more or less depending on the brand and popularity. But it's all about the workmanship.

Like-wise for KIA; great product for the price but after-sales service(if not for the few who have been lauded here in the forums) SUX.

they do so many cars for CNC in one day. that's why the workmanship may not be that good

quantity is not a substitute for quality...

The thing with Koup is it has frameless doors. So the film will get lifted off more easily when opening and closing of the doors. Furthermore the film's adhesive may not be given sufficent time to dry.

I do recall for my previous car, the installer will tell me not to wind down the windows for at least 24 hrs to let the film's adhesive to set.

wow, i was thinking abt going for Rikecool products...having 2nd tots...im sure there are many other brands of tint in da market....time to go hunting..

i got poor workmanship from my windscreen leh...
