The All New Kia Koup

I hereby present to you guys, The Kia Koup

The KOUP is powered by a 2.0-liter Theta II turbocharged engine producing 216kW/290hp paired with a GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) twin scroll turbocharger for greater power and efficiency, the KOUP delivers astonishing torque of 392Nm from as low as 2,000 rpm.

By injecting fuel directly into the cylinder under high pressure using the Kia GDI system, the intake charge is cooled and combustion behavior is improved. Improved combustion assures excellent fuel economy and low emissions.

The KOUP also benefits from Continuous Damping Control (CDC) along with sport-tuned, four-wheel independent suspension and strut tower bar. On the safety front, the KOUP has been well equipped. There is a six airbag package, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as well as Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Also included is adaptive front lighting and cruise control.

how come e exhaust is different from e one at e top.. one split another is a double tip exhaust.

Arrrh! They strip down the Koup?? How come. Hiaz.. So whatever the internal pic I post on top now no valid liao Only the external shell is still the same except the exhuast there different.

maybe 2 liter n 2,5 liter?

Wah shucks.. dat really sux then.. i had high hopes for this coupe version.. Was comparing it with the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0t track/r-spec version... My eyes lit up when i saw the horsepower torque specs as compared to the Genesis Coupe..

And wat makes it EVEN more disappointing is the fact dat it (Forte Coupe) is a FWD! Like wah lau?! Thanks man...

That one is still concept car and later is the production car....

The first and second door handles are different lor

our version of KOUP will never be the same as those in US or Korea, it's a stripped down version with the same engine as Forte be it 1.6 or 2L, if lup turbo, can seriously consider changing to it...
