Thanks Bro for the links but they are related to old Material Engineering limitations back dated to th 1980's, furthermore is it related related to heavy wear and tear.

My car headlamps fog heavily since on the 1st day of the collection and it is on normal bright warm sunny day and has nothing to do with wear and tear.

My previous Lancer for 5 yrs has the similar type of lamps materials but no such problem. Since 1980's which is about 30 yr later Material Engineering has improve by leaps and bounds.

The key issue is the Safety issue as I have emhasize and not C&C cannot get KIA Korea or even their headlamps to solve the defective problem. From one of the link on foogy lamps, it is states "

It has been well documented by safety industries that dim headlights have played a serious role in major car accidents."

As our contract is with C&C it is their duty to solve this safety problem. It is their problem to take it up with their Principals or Vendors.

Looks like they are serious on this safety lapses and only way is to get the members to voice out their concerns to the Authorities. eg CASE and LTA or even the Press otherwise C&C do not take a serious views of all the safety lapses feedbacks on mysterious crack windscreen, fogging lamps and poor wiper speed. No actions even to recall the Forte to replace the possibility of the waiting to happen crack windscreen.

Something for all of us to decide if safety is your top priority and it has no relevance to the price of the car or all of C&C excuses and internal problems.

Merry Christmas to all ! :-)
