Yesterday, I just went to Exxon Mobil station at Puggol road, they said can't add on top the discount of Citi bank Dividend platinum card.
In the end. I have to ignore the $3 discount.

cannot be la, the dividend card is seperate thing.

the cash rebate would be given by citibank not esso, and citibank when send u the check.

the petrolclerk is new one ah?

actually citibank gives 5% discount on site, plus ur esso discount becomes 10%.. the cash back is separate, another 4%(?) cashback... total 14.5% is wat they advertise...

I just went to pump this morning.

Used $3 voucher with Esso Privilege Card linked to Div Card.

No issue at all.

I think the problem is on the Div Card.

Try to give Esso Privilege Card instead.

Petrol prices just went up by 4 cents on Ron95, except for SPC. Not sure if SPC will follow suit today.

Thanks, I have no experience in all these cards as I was on company shell petrol card all these while. It seems to me that to get the best discount it is a combination of:

Credit Card (co. brand with petrol brand) + Petrol Brand Loyalty Card + Vouchers

is this correct or there are other options? however, it seems to me that the total discount is hovering at about 15% to 20%. some are even tagged onto your previous month usage, rite?

Sorry to ask this newbie question... I will be getting a fixed petrol allowance in my new job so i need to "squeeze" more value from the $.

wah.. at the rate the discounts are going around...i'll probably end up with credit cards of all the banks... i am currently using UOB credit cards.. not too sure if they give good discounts.. btw, which petrol brand co-brand with UOB credit cards and what is the discount rate like? I can't seem to find it in their website.

pump at caltex last week and cashier told me no more $3 discount coupon on site. Need to call Caltex personally and they send the coupon to your place.

we all must gang up and try this so that they will be pressured to introduce the discount voucher again!!

esso now give $2 ntuc vouchers for $50 petrol pump and to use that $2 voucher you need to spent another $50 in ntuc at least and must be participating ntuc stated in the voucher.. walao..

which esso you went that still give $3 discount? update leh..

how about other petrol station? any discount they give?

It seems like depend on your luck or the cashier. I pumped $70 patrol at ESSO last night, after $7 discount by my Citibank credit card = $63. But just gave mi $2 ntuc vouchers instead.
