I comparing the picture between the stock and your new.... your tires look over sized.... you can see the gap between your new tires and the fender is smaller then that gold...am I right or wrong or my eyes playing tricks.... if oversized, then your speedo and trip meter will not be accurate anymore.

If oversize, then your speed meter is wrong.... can't remeber whether you register higher or lower speed... you google and see..... also consequently, the distance travelled also not correct....

Which shop did for you??

Hey Saturnz, is it possible to take a front headon view of your car with these new rims? I want to see if the rim is sticking out of the bodywork or not.

I'm considering a set of 17" rims, the offset is +45mm, so it's mounted 5mm more outboard than stock ones, just worried that it will be sticking out.

Hi Tiny, no problem will take a picture for your reference asap. Actually, my rims do not stick out of the bodyframe when i checked it carefully yesterday.

Ok, meetup then look more closely in real....

You fuel consumption got me thinking, could it be your oversized tires cause your onboard calculator to register more distance then you actually travelled... I don't know, I am just guessing.... maybe you monitor by tank to tank calculations...

The tyreshop guy pumped at 220. Okok will try, should nt be a problem coz there is still some gap between the wheel and fender..

Thanks Saturn, I did checked the stock 17" at the showroom, the rims already look quite flush with the bodywork, that's why I'm worried if the +5mm would cause it to stick out. Hmm if you say it stick out of the bodywork, I think I'll probably go and put downpayment for the rims first. hehe
