Insurance premiums for Koup

Dear Koupians (why not Koupers...?)

I juz got the insurance quote from my SE last nite. $2800+ for 28yo.

thats reasonable lo, for me, 26yrs old forte 2.0 $10 to $3k.... yrs sportier, still consider cheaper

Koupers might be mistaken for Coopers, which are fans of Mini Cooper.

$2800+ is somewhere close to the sedan's insurance. good good.

i have 0% NCD, cos my old car still alive lol so cannot transfer NCD

Yes u are correct. Unless u want transfer the NCD from the other car to koup.. if not koup will start off as 0 and slowly accumulate over the yrs..

anyway COE tmr! pray hard will get. cause checked with SE if everything smoothly, get COE tmr, maybe late OCT or 1st wk of Nov can get car liao..

woot.... also... SE said.. test drive maybe coming soon.. how soon no idea..

farhan, the $1.5k is not the AIG discount, its the C&C discount for taking their in-house insurance. that means if we go source for our own insurance, our car price will need +$1.5k

yah.. the car price is already the discounted one.. I remembered last time when a fren bought from C&C, they got option to take either NTUC or AIG. NTUC cheaper but coverage not as good as AIG I think.

anyone of you were offered to take AIG? is it the only in-house insurance scheme available? can i opt for a change from AIG to NTUC before the car is registered? sorry for a lot of qns.. newbie la.. hee..

my SE haven't even call me yet about the insurance. I think you can try calling ur SE and check whether they got NTUC one or not... all these can be done before you go down and pay the insurance+1st installment

and that shipment consist of test drive vehicles also. anyway... COE is the impt thing now.. lol

i just realise that I missed out this post. I think I will call up my SE tomorrow or wat. me 28 also no NCD.
anyway, good that everyone got their coe..

dang.. my SE told me cos i 23, my insurance is $3542.. lucky it goes down as time goes by.. tat is if i dun kena accident and have to claim la.. haha.. but still.. $3.5 is a lot sia.. fooh..

oh.. i mean she got give me the insurance amt but that only valid for those with at least 1 yr driving exp. If less than a yr need to submit when stock comes in (thats what she says leh). then she also not sure when stock coming.

well, i jus met with my SE at the showroom.. apparently the SE is saying that my insurance is 5.5k as i have less than a year of experience and my age.. i trying to find alternative insurance for the car.. ask ur SE.. they shud have the quote by now.. and to all, yes, my premium is high.. wanted to use my parents name but thot not to as i wan to have full ownership of the car.. CHEERS!!

they allow u to source for insurance outside meh? ur SE submitted the insurance quotation to AIG for u? (since less than a yr)
