Bolehland is launching Forte as re-badge Naza..

Sources quote Forte clone (Naza) will be going on sale this Aug and base model will likely cost around ~RM66K... (CKD) and ~RM78K..<80K (CBU...) not sure of their specs too..

looking at that.. hmmm looks like we got alternative service centers coming.. ? haaa... 8)

And even more extreme poison from across the causeway(s)... I'm sure we've all heard about their turbocharged Kelisas and what-nots...

Oh man, that sucks, later people look at Kia Forte and thought that is the "boleh forte"... the value of Forte also brought down, as we know, Naza being famous for their "fantastic" quality.

there is no KIA in that country... All KIA model car all re brand as NAZA

PRoton and Naza are different entities. :-)

Naza is or used to be a parralel importer. Just because they are not allowed or do not have the rights to bring in the original car wholesale, they have to make some changes to it. :-)

Either that or they have some sorta agreement with kia to assemble their cars here to be sold here. Of course I am sure Kia gets quite a bit of 'payment' from Naza.

The only thing you need to worry about I guess is the skills of the labour. Workmanship and quality not their best thing either. :-)

But if you ask me to choose between Proton and Naza, I will definitely choose Naza. :-)

Yeah, until now I think most Naza cars are different from those already on the market. Like the Carens model they carry is based on previous generation one. Don't think it will happen and hope it won't happen that the Forte gets rebadged... On the flip side, it may become safe to drive in to Malaysia if it really happens...

It will not be safe to drive if they launch the Forte re-branding it to Naza-KIA Forte..... some of the underworld will then target the original MiK Forte, steal that and re-brand themselves for sale.

Best is to drive a car that is not available up north, no smart syndicate will want to touch something that is standing out like a sore thumb.....

and for the launch the CKD (AKA local assembled) will be 90% complete from kimchi land.. (only doors and accessories will be assembled locally).. then there is CBU from kimchi land too..( complete build unit) at 10K more.. (i personally think its going like sx spec?) but looking at NAZA past profile.. the car may not be that well received there.. due to their marketing strategy.. which.. ahem***

NAZA is only help Kia assembled & market into malaysia under CKD mean less GOV tax & import tax but Gov M got rules & term .

CKD MUST min. got 40% made in malaysia produt in NAZA not KIa .

KIa logo mean CBU the price more higher .

Naza same like Peugeot 206 .
