Strip just above rear number plates Empty Strip just above rear number plates

Post by Daniel^Bigcow 30th June 2009, 12:21 pm

Hi. Just like to find out something. You all know the strip or portion just above the rear number plates?? The part where the keyhole is to the boot?? :-)

I noticed some cars, this strip is chrome. However, other cars, this strip is the same colour as the car. Anyone know why this is so?? :-)

Also, if my car comes in chrome, I was thinking of changing it to either the same colour as my car or black. Anyone know if there is a clip on acc. for this?? Or I need to go and spray??

Thanks.

EX = same color.
SX = chrome.

This is to differentiate SX from EX

In addition, SX comes with chrome door handlers and exhaust pipe (unless your SE throws in these as freebies for EX)

Huh??!! REally ahh?? Damn!!! :-(

I ordered a SX. But I dun want the chrome. I know the front grille and the handles can change. But that strip at the back dunno can or not??!! :-(

Cos I getting the Titanium Silver, should be quite easy to get the grille and the door handles to match. Just get black can match already. Shouldnt be a problem getting black I think. :-)

Well, true it makes it look classy but not sporty. If you want a more sporty looking car, it looks better without the chrome. :-)

Change?? Can be done or not?? Hehehe!! :-)

In the 90s, everyone wants their handles, bumpers, etc to be colour-coded to the same as the car to make it classy. Now, it's the other way round, classy is to have different colour.

I bought SX, have to take car then decide if I want to change. I will offer the ppl here if I decide to change to colour.
