Aircon DIY insulation done on 18 Oct at TP Lor 8, organised by Shaq. Thanks to Uncle AndiKong for his professional help.
Just installed Door lights ($40) and change stock horns to Hella BM horns ($45 + $10 installation) at Soon Lee on 19/10 (Mon).
I find the 3 LEDs on each panel very bright
The pair of Hella horns is really very loud.

Re: My new Bright Silver Star
bro, ur courtesy light, how they tap the wiring?
they tap to cabin lights? so meaning ur cabin light must set to door? as in when u open the door, the cabin will have light and ur courtesy light will come on.
pls advise.

Re: My new Bright Silver Star
Ur right Epig.... when any of the doors is open, both courtesy lights as well cabin lights will come on.
I thought this is impt to install them, so that when car is parked in the dark, driver can see that ur car door is open. In the first place, C&C should have them installed!

I thought Kia/CnC put a reflector there? So if anybody drive in the dark with his headlights on, the reflectors should work, right? Unless it is a dud...or the driver very kuniang and drives without lights...
Anyway, Potatos, is the courtesy lights for all four doors at $40 for the complete job? Thinking of changing the horn too. So the Hella horns can scare the hell of any jaywalking, iPod wearing, handphone talking dude?

It's only 2 doors, the back do not come with the reflector unless you DIY

ohh...so the coverage is only 50%.. usually more worry about the passengers opening backdoors.

As what bro Potatos have mentioned do a group DIY , its more economical and fun doing it, can exchange personal views and see some poison at the same time.
The insulation materials are Armaflex F-020 (3/4") soft rubber hose @ $2 per 2 meter, $7 for the roll type adhesive insulation tape and $7 for the tin can of rubber gum. Cable ties also $2 and total $18 plus your petrol and personal time to Ubi crescent.
