For EX auto owners...

C&C eunos service centre smoked me by telling me that 1.6A EX sportstronic function is disabled by default.

Only SX has the sportstronic mode.

Before I bang table, is that true?

my sportstronic mode in my EX auto cannot work.

ask him go fly kites...my works perfectly well on my EX.

sportronic is a mode where u can drive like a manual without the need to depress clutch for changing gears...the upshift and down shift just need a flip of the control stick....however for sportronic, once u comes to a stop, it will auto drop to first gear without the need to shift down...usage of sportronic example...I going into a bend at 80km/hr, bend was pretty steep, from Drive mode I can switch to sprotronic and downshift to lower gear for engine brake rather than riding on the brake...

thanx. ask my husband go try den let u all know if mine works. cos by right mine comes with sportstronic mode according to de pricelist.

Both EX and EX auto comes with sportronic functions....

if ur "+" works that means u got the function? ;P
to make sure ur "-" does work.. u shd try again.. say on striaght road @ 50-60 kph & no car in front.. switch to sportstronic and den to "-" and depress ur accerator to simulate a "overtaking".. u shd be able to feel a drop in ur gear ratio and more power is delivered for the task..

haiz tiptronic/sportronic are there for auto car owners to increase control and power over their car for overtaking and for downhill engine brake.. if ur auto car dun have sportronic then u should have a overdrive button... ask him there is the overdrive if the sportronic is not included... C&C people all like tat 1 like SH*T!!!

??? I'm confuse. Why like that, you are the first case which I know of such weird things happening. What's the point of having a sportronic there and u can't use it?

just an update.
I brought it down to C&C again and they got it rectified.
According to them, it was something surprising too!

It took them a whole 9hours to fix it.

and btw, in the midst of this saga, i came to realize that C&C Leng Kee is the best (esp. Service Advisor: Martin)! and Eunos is the WORST!

So now, my 1.6EX auto is able to DOWNSHIFT and upshift "happily".

lol anyway our sengkang and punggol got alot of people fly kites because still got big open field with lotsa big winds. I always wanted to bring my stunt kite for some fun but my hands!!! .....

i only work 1 day last week, got important breifing, anyway my work, if i go back also no need to work, just walk around chit chat, la kopi, see what others are working..... waiting for sept then find new job lol
