BK and Car Body - an observation Empty BK and Car Body - an observation

Post by JuanST 2nd February 2010, 9:31 am

Guys,

am doing some changes on the bodykit to chnage the muffler tip. so i asked mcd to remove the back bk.
i noticed that after the bk was removed, there is a lot of "dirt" attached to the car body (originally covered by bk).
i am concerned that this "dirt" - since it is not being cleaned as it it is covered by the bodykit, may lead to rusting...

if it will lead to rusting, then i might just decide to remove bk all the way.....

any opinions?

ok.... my mistake.... BK and Car Body - an observation Icon_redface
anyway, would it still cause "permanent" damage?

btw... mcd will not do the 2 piece back thing anymore....
cost considerations... bk becoming cheaper....

C&C Rear Lip Spoiler uses double sided tape and silcon to secure it to the back. Makes it difficult to remove....

Intially Man can Do didnt want to remove it cos will cause paint work to rip off and even dent....

Luckily, they managed to do a good job!

BK and Car Body - an observation Cdf53008

fit it into place to look....
BK and Car Body - an observation E88fb419
BK and Car Body - an observation A0d42de5

the trick would be how to make the bk seamlessly connected to the diffuser.... what i saw with the mcd boss car, too obvious... unless u can do some putting or something like that....
