Boot opening problem!!

Hi guys. I just got my ride for 3 days and i am having problems with the opening of the boot! I noticed the problem with the boot lever in the showroom when i first booked the car. My SE told me that there was no problem, because i have to pull the lever really high to open the boot.
and sadly when i got this ride, i opened and closed the boot a few times, the boot cannot open this morning! Maybe the mechanism snapped!
any bros out there with the same problem and any solutions to this? now i can only rely on my keyless entry remote to open the boot. I'm using the smart key with push start on my SX.

this is typ problem for most new collect, can be adjusted during your 1K servicing, try open the boot and adjust the 2 rubber spacer at the corner (you and turn to adjust the height) and that should help before cc rectify for you.. or just use your control to release 1st.

1 problem though i do not see any key hole for the key in SX... not too sure for EX though or batch..

I have this problem too before adjusting the lever with CnC.

U have to pull and let go, pull and let go of the level several times before the boot can be opened again, if u know what i mean. But of cos, dun use too much strength while doing so...

I have this problem also. for the past few days i had this problem. cannot open my boot have to use the remote trunk release. will tell them this problem when i go for my 10K servicing.

hi bros. thanks for the advices. i have tried the methods and it worked a few times. i just held more inside on the lever when pulling it. have to pull quite high until the boot pops open. i think kia should go rectify all forte on this boot problem.
its esp bad when we have no key hole to open the boot! and when the remote fails us, then i think i really panic.
