fake disc brake

Hi all

I noticed on some cars who are on rear drum brake (like our 1.6 EX), have this disc cover which is fixed onto the drum brake to cover it. They sometimes come in a variety of colours (silver, red, blue etc.) and have small holes in them. Hope my description is sufficient.

Any bros have them installed? Where to get them and what is the damage? Thanks!

u have also posted many same questions in various threads... have patience and wait for the answer. The person who have installed this don't come in everyday like some of us....

I believe TS didnt specifically ask for "only" ur opinion. And not all of us will go thru every single thread posted like u do.

back on topic, personally, i don't like to install those accessories which try to imitate the real stuff. Eg, those device that imitates the BOV sound, 3.5" exhaust tip etc. other than adding more weight, you would also invite ppl to laugh at you.. No offence but that's my opinion.

I prefer you to change to better brake pad with the money instead.
