Front Licence Plate

Can the square front licence plate be replaced with a rectangular one, like the one at the back? Is it a LTA requirement? Imo, a rectangular plate in front looks nicer.

You will need to change the back plastic support piece to a longer one to support the end of the long plated and frame, otherwise you will have them "banging" at your bumper frequently, adding to your tuk tuk sound.....

kapitan, I think what dipstick is trying to ask whether is it LTA requirement to be square or we can change to rectangle

there are thousands of cars being driven on the roads here.. step onto a kerb and observe as the cars zip by.... think the answer can be seen by just observing......

otherwise, onemotoring.com.sg provide all the answers that are needed....

I've seen license plate in sticker format too.

ubi industry there got a licence plate shop beside the TP building, u can ask that shop but i dont know got or not sorry

any shops that do licence plates can do...in Ubi, Sin Ming, AMK auto point, alexandra village, etc....

go there look do number plates ok.

Its the 1st shop @ the corner 3005. U see many "tiong Chia" do stickers there

That's the famous Johnson shop...can do decal there too...

i rem Emboss Plate aka Euro Plate for bike is about $24-28. Car one .. .Maybe not far from that. Depending on what you want.
The Fonts are of LTA compliant.

Weekend plate that should be settle @ LTA side.
THink plate can be done from there.

lol i read the papers that euro plates kena fine at 500 or 1k i cant remember. emboss one also fine

Sticker number plate is illegal?

Any OPC owners have actually change the front number plate to rectangular (elongated to be exact cos all plates are rectangular) ones?

my SE said to do tat, they will need to drill a hole on the bumper for the seal.. is tat true.. but i dun mind cos it seems to be FOC.. can any OPC owners here share his/ her views?

It better to inform your SE change before you get your ride, like me if once i change,
got to go back to LTA for inspection and pay $$$,so no choice let it be..

Yeah,our plate got one gold plated (so call) screw or dont what to call that,once remove, need to go back to LTA.

hey ppl,,, my front number plate i change to e rectangular type instead of e square one. n i got it for FOC by C&C. some might hv seen it during e 2nd meet up but e lookz not as handsome as bro kapi front plate. since its free, juz take it...

Can check if urs is an OPC? if so, i was told that the seal has to be drilled into the bumper.. is that the case?

FYI, i take a look at my present ride, indeed the seal was embedded into the bumper area...then i take a look at some other OPC around plc.. seems like the newer cars are mostly square type.. my guess is with the square type, they can aviod drilling into the bumper.. instead they placed the seal at bottom corner where they got some working space behind the plate..

Guys... where can I get the back plastic support piece for rectangular number plate??

think car plate shop got sell, u check from moses, he selling chrome plates but also got sell bracket $12.
