maybe you have apply some solution to polish the windscreen.

Re: Rain Wiper sound quite loud
Windscreen could be dirty, probably providing resistance to the wiper.....

So far I've not applied any solution to my windscreen except CnC original soap given. Btw is the windscreen wiper be adjusted? or any way to solve this problem? Thanks

Re: Rain Wiper sound quite loud
maybe you can check with the tech when you go for your servicing. I think they will say its normal, given their reputation in servicing. Have to prob make some noise over there. For me, i just tried to apply the solution every week to make sure my windscreen is clean.

Mine too. Although the windscreen is clean, the wiper seems to have difficulty overcoming some resistance. Could it because the wiper is new?

Re: Rain Wiper sound quite loud
I also experienced the "jerking & noisy" wiper movement (didn't wash car), but after a very heavy rain & cleaned by the petrol attendant, the jerking sound is drastically reduced. I conclude that it is the dirt on the windscreen that prevents the wipers from moving freely.
Anyone actually clean the wiper rubber blades? What is the correct way to do this?
I'd also measured the wiper dimemsion: They are 50cm and 60cm respectively
But most wipers are sold in inches!
I wonder if we can use the 20" (which is 1/4" longer) and the 24" (which is 3/8" longer) - will the longer wipers "clash" in movement????

They usually say its normal when you ask them for reasons: "Why the wiper so loud ar?"
Instead try saying, I dun wan the sound. I want the loud wiping sound to be gone please.
Will that help?

then wait they give you a powerful reply you LL...
e.g. "So long the wiper is moving I dont see any problem to the wiper" Loud or soft depend on your ear sensitively or it is very subjective."

Re: Rain Wiper sound quite loud
Mine used to have some noise when i first bought the car. And it left a black diagonal stain mark at the centre of my windscreen. But after some hard cleaning the stain came off. And after abt 1mth driving the sound is much quieter.
But if i drive >130km/hr, the wiper movement will be jerky and loud again. I think this is due to the huge air pressure subjected to it when driving at high speeds.
