Driving to Malaysia Shopping
Hello all, this sound noob but i have yet driven to Malaysia before.
Am intending to head to Jusco Terbau City for shopping with Mrs this weekend.
Like to know following:
- When parking, is it always advisable to park head-in first with wheels steered full-lock to either left or right ?
- Dont park near dark alley or stairways ?
- Park where there is more crowd or nearer to shops ?
- If something really happen (touch wood ! ) to car (lost or accident), call who first ? Local police or AIG insurance ?
Kindly contribute should there be anything i need to take note of while driving in.
Thanks in advance !
Cheers.

Re: Driving to Malaysia Shopping
No underground car parks....get a steering lock if possible.....if really gone after u back from shopping, no need to freak out, called AIG immediately and then get advises from local to direct u to the nearest police station but be warn most of the officers couldn't speak english well, so the statement will take 2-3 hrs, by the time they are done and issue an order for your lost ride, likely it's long gone from JB and maybe into some containers.....

Re: Driving to Malaysia Shopping
Aiyo, never go in to JB on Saturday.
Was queueing along BKE exit toward JB @ about 9am........queue until 10am, me and my Mrs decided not to carry on liao because we think that by the time we got in, it might already be 12 or 1pm and left not much time to shop already.
Any bro/sis went in ? Is the 20L rule in effect ?

Somehow or rather, i feel uneasy driving back from JB after sunset.
Therefore, my plan is go in at about 10am, shop till 3-4pm, then head back SG.
By the way, is 3-4pm a 'good' time to come back to SG ? Normally got jam during that time ?
pessimizt- Senior Member
Re: Driving to Malaysia Shopping
most of the time the pattern is like this
sat is go in jam come back no jam..
sunday go in no jam come back jam..
weekday go in jam start from 5.30 till 10.30pm come out no jam...
office hr no jam...
