most of this scene is from episode 14 of the show Iris.

but they did very slight edit of the clip. just very slight.

anyway the show from episode 3 onwards can keep seeing Kia cars doing all sorts of stunts.

i believe this model may be imported by CnC to replace the Kia Magentis, or at least a notch above it (Kia's version of the 7 series). but as usual, a stripped down version, don't expect the reverse cam and the 8" LCD screen. V6 model may also not coming to our shores.

i saw the new K7 in korea on my last day before returning to Singapore. It is priced at SGD40K. Superior outlook and it blown me away totally!

If it really comes to singapore, i will sell away my forte and get it without any regrets!

K7 looks like very big. Maybe it's not suitable for daily use in Singapore parkings and streets...

If the price is cheap, maybe the taxi company will buy it in bulk and adopt it, then paint in all green, or yellow, or blue.

like hyundai azera.. its a very nice ride but under taxi =(

because it is a taxi, so it's good. why? first of all, taxi companies won't choose a lousy model with least value for money. any model that they choose must undergo trial runs and evaluations. second, hyundai sonata, kia magentis, skoda superb, etc, are chosen because they are affordable and reliable.

and last, taxi image =/= lousy image

this Kia Cadenza, however, may not become a taxi after all if it is priced above the magentis. maybe Silver Cab might want it since it can afford a skoda superb, let alone a Cadenza.

oh wait, it might just be a replacement for the benz cabs. but do we see executives refraining from the e-class benz? nope. just don't buy white colour, that's all.

korea built hyundai/kia and most korean driving it too..

sg import from various country but sgrean avoid driving the car same as taxi..

after all, as singaporeans, we know our countrymen's styles. we are brought up with a lot of misconceptions and prejudices. man with a scar on their face = robbery, teenagers wearing 'loud' t-shirts = gangsters, diesel engines = dirty, rich people = wicked, etc, etc

so naturally people perceive taxi = low-class

but in other countries, we do not see that. for eg, thailand uses vios as a taxi but we do see this model quite popular in thai still. but then, benz cabs in singapore, why still so many buy e-class benz? because benz = good but hyundai/kia = bad. stereotype and ignorance on the public lah.

lol... then i can't buy a blue forte even though i am "the blue cruiser".

The korean drama at 10pm everyday on Starhub Ch173 also using this. The inspector is using Cadenza, another inspector is using Sorento CUV. And the main actress is driving a red forte coup.

i think sg will bring in the low end specs which is 2L and 2.4L
