Bodykit Scratched.. :sad..

As above, my BK lasted only 3 days in perfect condition, Just scratched it over the rear kerb in Company!!

ya.... think basically side angle is really too low!... swee swee looking from side.. man.. but overall too low liao hiaz...

pls check if it breaks.... the one near the rear wheel.....if it does get it patched immediately b4 it becomes worse...

the front BK is the worst... everything go down slop and then there is near 90" angle beng.... I have to stop my car and move super slow to avoid the front from gatta break apart..

oh no... now i hesitating if i shld cancel my order for the bk... sounds scary... went to LK showroom tdy and test drive with my fren. they got the new keyless entry and push-start model for test drive le.

The bodykit is ok la, just park carefully, don't speed over humps and all will be fine

I think terrier has something for BK owners. Wait for his poison. Saw it at the last meet up. should be quite interesting.

that day at Kallang Leisure Dome carpark, I backside itchy went to park head in... I was moving at snail speed and even without BK I was surprised when i heard the heart-wrenching "krrrrrrggg..."

immediately reverse a little and went down to check... bumper ok... then realize there is a tow-eye underneath "buay" the kerb...

finding our forte is really "long" after bodykit.. now.. haaaa.... after being more careful everytime, i tend to stick out a lot in front..whaa...
yeah... did once front in.. like only 2cm apart from parking raised floor..haiz..

Totally agree with u FriesL. I just came from Genting Highlands. I find the First World Hotel Multi-Storey Carpark most challenging.... Have to move down the slope very slowly..... 1 cm at a time so that will not scratch BK.... u can imagine going 5 levels down..... really testing my patience..... What to do....

U know in M'sia, many people do "front in parking" ... I have to ask my wife to get out of the car to check if BK hit the kerb.... too troublesome.

Really, it is a blessing in disguise for those who did not install BK for their Fortes.

About BK yeah.. kind of lo... still getting use to that.. now i have to learn sg way of reverse in most time.. cos can open door and see rear BK clearence.. best to see next car reflection.. if any... lo..haaa...

haiz... just to update.. today added 2nd scratch! due to uneven kerb height!
meaning.. cannot reverse all the way even with opened door for driver side! hhaaa...

dont bother la.. wait till it become so bad then change to the koup bumper will do.. this is what I'm planning to do...

which is so much better then try to change to another new C&C BK which is a nitemare...

for back just install rear cam lor.. it will help alot..

depend on how deeply scratch is yours.. you can just buy touch up paint and paint over it... if u live near me sengkang come visit me and I will teach u how to paint it nicely...

if like mine very deep scratch even paint over it also can see the scratch but then at least u make the painting even so less eye sore... beside BK is below so who go bend down and see so close to see the scratch...

so conclusion just buy touch up paint and paint over it will do..
