Anti Rust from KIA

hmm...recently booked forte 2.0 SX
COE secured. but july deliver.
i was asked by my SE whether i want anti rust that cost $385.
he willing to gimme disc of $85. so it will b $300 with a free window visor.
worthy???

I got the tuffkote rustproofing as a freebie. It actually cost the SA only about $200. So he's likely to be making at extra $100 from u. Don't ask me how I know...... but I do.

then my SE v c* leh....haha

when i got my picanto 4 yrs ago i oso thot of doing anti rust thingy... but fact is i feel that i dun really need it cos i will not really keeping the car till rust problem arise.. true enff.. after more than 4 yrs and parking in an open carpark wif plenty of rain n sun.. no rust.. no problem..
just upgraded my ride and im oso waiting 4 my 2.0 sx now.. so imho, i thk u can give this a miss and opt for other freebies.. like paint protection etc.. =) just my view lah.. if u wanna do pls go ahead.. maybe can sell better in future? cheers~

not necessary to have the tuff-kote coating, just for SE to earn more commission. In our climate condition, there isn't a need bcos max on the road is 10 yrs...our ride base already galvanised unless u living in a 4 seasons country where there's snow...

Don't need those anti rust one lah.

My FIL current corolla 7 years old don't see any rust, his previous impreza used 10years max also no rust. He got his car clean by MSCP bangalah.

My previous ride is a 1985 Corolla sprinter, was sold in 2002...also no rust...

As long ur take care of ur car, don't waste that type of money man.

In fact, how often do you see a car full of rust in SG except for those old bomb vans, lorries that nobody ever bother to clean.

Liked my SE beginning before I book, ask him abt tuff-kote, he said no need lah..car well protected, won't rust...but after booking, when settle final payments, now offered me whether want to put tuff-kote, can get special price....haha

so sad, one thing is that my SE nv gimme much freebies.
he gimme only 3M(replica) mat, and darker tinting flim. thats all. ask him gimme window visor, he ask me take up his anti rust then can gimme window visor...what the F**K???
