RE : Forte Front Grill

Found the below grill on internet. Looks pretty nice lehh. Chrome somemore. Damage is around SGD200.

Each grille is manufactured out of air craft grade 6061-T6 aluminum which is one of the lightest and toughest materials.

nice.. why not u bring it in and test.. if nice u can hold GB on this too =)

am thinking still.....cos the lower grill will be blocking the fog lights leh....sighed..

yes.. reflective light causes more heat and will melt your foglamp cover

am not very good at this engr stuff..

may i know if you hv too many little grill bars in front of engine as shown in the above picture, will it lower/limit the air intake flow to the engine somehow ??

or it does nt matter at all ??

very negligible...

in fact, air intake flow is not taken from the front grille but a pipe that is facing somewhere else in the bay.

the only thing i can think of is cooling issue, but that again is negligible.

i luv the stock front grille to bits... would never change it

Just one more question.

may i know is aluminum material better to use for the front grilles, or Carbon fiber material is better ?

cos saw terrier bought his grille at USD145 which is more expensive than the above one(the same part only costs USD60).

Do not wish to compare base on price alone, but the differences is a bit wide leh for same purpose......

for grill nothing to compare except price..

cause its jsut a outlook.. changing it wont give u any extra performance or reduce heat..

so depends on individual that like which looks.. =)

I would suggest not getting this billet grill, this is one loudsy american product....

I have friends who bought the grill from them for another make.... their grill are quite filmsy....

I compare both american made billet grills with jap made.... big big difference...
