kia kue and kee seems to be turbo charged one leh.. so I dunno how C&C gg to price it if they really wan to bring in..

is thr something like an after market turbocharged that can be install legally(via kia)?!?! something like version upgrade like mobilephones.. Koup no turbo right.. dont mind spending few k on legal turbo(if thr is any)

I read from Torque a few issues ago, when they reviewed the Koup in Korea, the editor (David Ting) mentioned that Kia is preparing a turbocharged version of the Koup, and they shld be on their way out the Kimchi land around the 1st half of 2010. And to make the deal sweeter, KIA is adding another gear to the aging 4 gear, auto gearbox!

But I can't wait! Just take whatever's offered now!

actually u can add an aftermarket turbo charger legally, as long as u do not compromise the chassis while doing so... check out lta's regulation at their website...

looking at the names, I keep thinking of Kar Kwee... open legs... hahahhaaa....

Superchargers or Turbochargers

The addition of superchargers or turbochargers to a vehicle may adversely affect the safe operation and its exhaust emission characteristics. Therefore, LTA would require the following to be submitted for evaluation:
a) Technical specifications and installation details (including pictures and drawings) of the proposed supercharger or turbocharger. can buy from outside??
b) Certification from the vehicle manufacturer stating that the supercharger or turbocharger is suitable for the vehicle on a per make and model of the vehicle. KIA / CnC to approve?
c) Certification or test reports from LTA/NEA recognised test laboratories to show that the turbocharger or supercharger when fitted to the vehicle on a per make and model basis complied with prevailing exhaust emission standards. Still must do test??

like tat might as well add illegally then wait till inspection then tk out?? new car 3yrs right..

Kia Kee is super nice! Hopefully it will come to Singapore..but not now..maybe 5 to 6 yrs time after my Forte has breakeven..keke
