Have you see the interior of Cruz, they may have very nice dashboard and control panels but there are some parts intead of the normal plastic or leather, they use fabric loh.

The interior for cruz 1.8 is nice but not for the 1.6 version.

"genuine quality from bumper to bumper" but windscreen to windscreen (ref. front windscreen self-destruct)?

oh. IC ..(saw quite some review on oneshift also) No issue...not intersted in cruze since i am already a proud forte owner... i think the prog also mentioned 1.8 specs.. la but heard engine sound cmi... only complain i have for forte is the sound insulation... door sound terrible...(to me..) and cabin sound not that refine also.. other than that no complain liao...

I was choosing between Cruze, Vios or Forte. Went to test drive Cruze. A very nice car both interior and exterior. Ride comfort is there also. However, the car is not responsive at all! On full stop, when I step on the accelerator, the car is not moving for split second. How to filter and cut lane if I am in such situation? Forte is nice on the exterior, but interior so so. With the improvement from what is shown in showroom, now it looks and feel much better. Very responsive even for 1.6l Forte. No difference from driving any light Japanese car. With more features thrown in. The waiting time for the car is ok. Yes! I booked Forte and love it!

now for the reliability test.... hopefully forte wins too.....

Yeah, hopefully. Yet to collect car. But read threads on problems with Forte and really pray hard my ride doesn't come with such problems...

I have my forte coming to 1 month & really enjoy my ride veri much

No major complaint except for bird s@#$.....

Remember I read some review in the Aust. megazine stated that it's not only the best small sedan from Korea compared to Cruze & Elantra (Avante), it also beat Lancer, Corolla (Altis) & Tiida (Latio) in terms of build quality, accessories & value for money.

All vehicles above are with 2.0L (more common in Aust) engines & specs.

I already sign sales agreement and paid the balance on Sunday. What about you? However I won't be getting car any sooner as my existing car insurance is expiring in Nov. So SE suggest she will only register car later of the month so that I can bring forward my 40% NCD. So now just GUAY GUAY wait......
