nope... its not really an offence to drive without displaying rd tax disc, as enforcement agency are able to checked both urs and ur vehicles data such as insurance, road tax thru their mobile network... even if u see govt vehicles, seldom u see the brown colour rd tax exempted disc on their vehicles.

Finally a new owner of the Kia Forte...haha...jus collected tdy at leng kee showroom at 12noon...feels so gd...i really must recommend my SE...he volunteer to throw in the auto-folding mirror for me!i din know it untill the moment he ask me sit into the car and try start the engine...wat a suprise!haha...sorry if im too yaya but hope u guys understand its my 1st new car though 2nd car...

no hump sound, paintwork ok. but got 'klink klink' sound from the undercarriage, and got louder when the aircon is on. tmr heading to the service centre to check. might be the air-con compressor. everything else ok.

Seems like every batch has got different problems

"klink klink" sound? Me can't figure out what is that

Loose exhaust fittings ? Cause turn on aircon will send the car into higher vibration when idling

It's from the undercarriage and it might be the air-con compressor..honestly it's pretty hard to pin-point. Paying a visit at the Ubi doctor today and they fix the bug. Will keep folks posted here for future reference.

Ok, the diagnosis: Faulty muffler, which they gonna replace for me once the part is flown in from Korea. Life goes on.

CAN why not, after mod to twin exhaust you go back to C&C and tell them one of the muffer faulty ask them to replace than you keep the faulty want and add another exhaust than become triplets exhaust....and so on....

Haha, no lah. Actually the single exhaust already look cool to me. The Ubi staff was helpful, all I did was to say hello and ask if he could help me with my car problem. Waited 2 hrs there which wasn't too bad, though I hope they tighten my handbrake coz' it's still way too loose.

i think it's another case of those who bought earlier stock is here. but cant secure coe. c&c decide to give the stock of these buyers to de nxt batch of customer. same in de case of my colleague. he got his car within 1mth fr date of purchase.

i think those getting car from leng kee will have better chance than those getting from ubi....they are from different management.

Please understand that when u book a car, the order will be in queue number.. So getting a car early doesn't really mean the se had help u push the car fast but is more of the model, color which u had chosen is of the lesser pool so which is the most probably why u getting the car fast..

Example, if u book 2.0 L manual, some least favourite color model.. U sure can get the car fast as there is ready stock as compare to auto model hot color model.....

Finally, we collected our Forte on last Wednesday. Everything seems ok except the front passenger interior silver part need to be replaced, cos a tiny little bit of paint not very nicely done.

I did not get to drive the car for long (only about 10 min so far), so will keep u all posted when I find anything worth sharing with u guys.

Got my ride 1.6EX (A) last friday. Saturday already realise the trunk open switch not working...need to use key to open...

Very sad. Just one day already got problem. Besides, when reach pandan garden collecting car on friday nite only informed by SE that my ride body kit not yet install and need to wait 2-3 mths for the stock to come and only call me to go back install...wondering anyone also facing the body kit issue?

hi nothing, err... I actually sold my Mit Colt half a year ago already, and I am currently driving a Civic 1.8. The Forte belongs to my wife, bigcow. That's why I still didn't get to really drive the Forte yet.
