is it true that we can try to bid for a no. we prefer and if its not a popular no. there will be no charge means no need to pay anything

if no charge then how to consider "bid" with LTA? u need to provide cashier's order (min $1K) and fill in form to LTA. upon successful bid, yr name will be shown at onemotoring website. go collect yr bid letter and give yr SE for registering yr new car plate. if too late, then u gota pay $300 to change back to yr bid numbers. bidded number is yours for a period of time only. exceed pay again.
