How much discount you got from your Forte purchase?

Yesterday evening receive letter from C&C on my car statement.. on top it stated discount $3K++ which I presume below to the freebie given...

Any bro/sis here got check and see how much discount so call given for your purchase..

I make my purchase at April time and got my COE at beginning of May when COE still not that high...

As mention this thread is for people whom got their car and receive letter from C&C on their car statement information.

Oh ya u mention den i go tk a look at the so kol tax invoice from C & C..receive so long liao nvr really go see...mine also book in mid april receive in mid to end may...COE also got it on 1st bidding exercise of may...also got write a "discount given : 3.6k"..bt duno hw true la...

Ya I think mine also written 3.6K discount.. so which mean to say that discount is bullshit then...

after u guys mention i went to see mine, $1,237 only.... wow u guys got a good deal wor!

I thought that the discount given should be the price quoted in the price list(during that period).The tax invoice shown is only a way of tabulating.
Discount given but added the solar film cost , alarm etc. to make up the total cost.
The total payable inclu.GST is still the final cost that you are going to pay.
Mine is even higher discount given is $4.8k......

C&C didnt bullshit means i lugi wor!!

Mine is a yellow color paper. But I cannot find the word "discount" anywhere...

is this normal practice by all car dealers ? Or is it related to tax issue (dealer pay less tax) ? This is my first time buying new car
