my went in on sat, collect on monday. found a scratch on the cabin light.

tuesday go back do solar film, got another scratch on the driver side rear door, then they take out my 2 way alarm antenna never put back.

want to complain also complain till dulan. haiz!!!

Your windscreen must be the first 2.0L to crack........so looks like even the 2.0L is not immuned. There are probably others whose windscreen have cracked but not reported here.

If the crack cause by pebbles, they surely tell u on the spot.. bcos of their years of experience handling it. Cannot any how blur them..
Forte windscreen crack normally start from the side. If urs start from the side, then tell them to change.. don't wait...

hi, i thought the windscreen issue is some vandal who did it until i chanced upon this forum. it happened overnight and i was thinking of making a report. the cracked happened from the side of the windscreen on the driver side. CnC should do something about this... how long does CnC take to do this repair?

sent my car to C&C last wk to fix the noisy wind sound from the windscreen and ended up getting all kinds of stupid reply from the technician... Told him dat the sound comes when i drive on 100km/hr and he gave me the answer to say that they can only test drive according to the speed limit.. Was totally pissed off wif dat damn answer and felt like strangling his neck..

steering wheel sound fixed liao... and dun noe who the bloody arsehole who opened his stupid door and leave a scratch on my door.. damn.. hopefully either that bugger had his arse filled with piles or his car kenna scratched 10 times worst until got to respray.. stooopid fella...

Now I've to seriously think whether to go back CnC for my 10K servicing and to resolve the noisy wind sound.

Eh my windscreen just crack yesterday too, but i no time to go down..... and next week chinese new year so i also think CnC not open. but the crack keep getting longer!!!! donno can last 2 weeks not....

Armstrong, I suggest you drive in to CnC leng kee straight. there's no need to pre-book the time. I sent it in at 930am on monday and the car is ready at 3pm. I went down today for the solar film lamination. All f.o.c. Just warn them to take care of the car. I got back with some fresh scratch marks which CnC denied. At least it is not too bad to the extent of needing to respray but still it leaves a bad impression of the way the car is being treated.

To all, for your info that those wind screen have cracked before and replaced will be crack again, cos the problem if not the wind screen is the calculation of the wind screen support frame. if your car are mfg in china, that 70% will have this problem. do anyone of them ask your se where will be my car mfg from with plant. my car are from korean plant but not china that place alot of difference in quality.

I don't trust my SE on this issue. How can we find where our car mfg. ?

Yeah I agreed don't believe SE and the Mgr.
Look in the Engine firewall nameplate will show the serial number and others.
Thought we will told its make Korea ?
Anyone knows which are the cracked list are Forte 2.0 and Coupe ?
I know that the 1.6 and 2.0 share same body but engine bhp, vibration and stress different. For Coupe I'm not sure.

Early morning when the sun just about to rise, some tick tick sound came from nowhere and suddenly, piak, the windscreen cracked in front of my eyes...


This is a known issue but no recall to replace? Frustrated wasting time to travel to CnC to replace, gotta go back twice(replace windscreen & install solar film) somemore...

the wind noise is created from the pcs of plastic sheets in the car door, i had the same problem as yours and went to sound proof all my doors and the noise is kept to the mininum when driving at 160km at nsh.

Just to inform everybody my situation, before CNY my windscreen was replaced by CnC and they installed Rikecool solar film for me(Standard grade no so good). My original solar film was from Thermal Guard (FOC from SE when I purchase the car, I upgrade to premium grade). Last week I went back to Thermal Guard to install the premium grade solar film(ontop of the Rikecool film), it was FOC for the first replacement. Before install I ask them to check the light visibility : 66%. LTA standard is 67%.
