Koup windscreen no crack issue

Since i was one of the early ones to collect and it's been 2 mths now, am glad to report that there are no windscreen crack issues on the Koup so far. Now, let's hope it stays that way.....

no worries. yes, it's still too early to know for sure but thot it'll be something reassuring for the would-be koup owners to know nothing has happened for 2mths.

yeah.. i think no issue for koup too.. not acceptable if they knew abt it n yet repeating the same mistake.. anyway cheers! u enjoy ur crackless windscreen while i con't to keep my fingers crossed... keke.. but try not to follow behind heavy vehicles carrying sands/ gravels.. i suspect i got my very minor chip from these fellows on the road..

if got chip then make it crack lor, cnc will change for u for free...

hehe.. the chip really minor lah.. not noticeable at all.. i din know until CSII fellow pointed out to me while they take in my car for application.. man.. that guy is really good at looking for minor defects..

That's good news. Redkoup is one of the pioneers that got the car first..
No windscreen crack. I saw the moderators had move the windscreen crack post to sticky. Serious!

For forte forum.....

Koup shouldn't have any of these problems, previously confirm with SE, Koup W.S is 1.5mm thicker (How true idk )

You post this info in koup thread w/o stating your details.

Such a sad thing that we owners are leaving in fear and safety concerns for the defects to happen or is happening eg mysterious crack windscreen, fog headlamps, veering to the side etc , what happen if it happens while driving in Mysia or Thailand for vacation with a sad ending and the inconviences caused to us (time and frustrations).

Yet still no recall and giving leaflet to later batch of new owner that the defects are normal ? Anyone can scan a copy of it and post it as I did not receive it ? Can some bro highlight when C&C started giving out such leaflet?

crack is probably due to vibrational problems la...

so far, have not encountered ACTUAL recall here locally....

I find that market recall still regard as a strategy in consumer confidence.
At least Toyota and Honda are trying to do something when a fault is found.
Be it safety concern or not, at least they are honest and commit that no such mistake in the future.

For eg... Forte face windscreen crack issue, did we see any post from Kia on this design issue?
