Collection?

Hi all,

Booked my humble Koup on 02/01/2010. SE says ard MAR/APR collect car. COE / Loan amt all settled....bt SE just call to say till now still no confirmation fr the logistic side....any1 got any insight to this.....ie u booked ard my time period, when collection, confirmation of collection fr Kia etc.....

Read the forums and you know. Just wait long long la.

We booked in Sept/Oct 2009...now 3 -4 months liaos still no car. and also dunno confirmation when coming...

Bro, they also told me MAR/APR...

It's the standard waiting time.... 2-3 mths.....

it's d first time need to wait for dat long for a Korean cars....

I understand from my friend that KIA C&C usually fail to deliver and their waiting time is long......

yah.. the demand for Kimchi cars is going up...i'm collecting mine this coming Friday!!! after booking it in Oct 09, then a few miscommunication last 2 weeks and now finally the date of collection...

should be soon i guess. mine delay was due to my current ride settlement. they claim my bank delay on the final settlement amount.

iit depends on how much your SE kiasi.

If like mine so kiasi, i book Oct He put mine collection Feb 2010. Many other SE they put Jan 2010.

So now I can only kp so much cannot bang table.

aiyo,my se promise me i will get my koup in late dec & den my sales agreement actually says feb-apr. i ask them why & they say only put in cos it's sop.... den i told them u promise me by dec, it's not sop la.... if dat's d case, den d price on d sales agreement in dat case oso not correct lor. should be $10k cheaper lor.... all d cnc staffs mouth like kena stuck.... juz go & to them face to face & bang tables lor... tell them no **** & bulls stories.

since actual delivery date and stated delivery date can be different, then the price the state on the agreement also can be different...

I book on 17 Jan. And on paper is written
mar 10. Don't know will delay ?

i can understand everyone playing this waiting game..if the rumors are true dat the koreans at KIA factory is going on strike, then hope dat they resolve the issue so those later batch wll not kena like the Sep/Oct batch...

strike???? a record was set last year, not a single strike occurred at Hyundai/KIA..... in any case, if you know Korea and labour issues in Korea, you will know that strike do not normally occur in winter... the workers stage strikes in summer/autumn period....
